Alumni Circles: JLF-Style Learning for After College
A new offering for recent college grads, rooted in the resonance of JLF.
For so many of us, JLF was more than a class. It was a place to show up as we are, ask real questions, meet people who got it, and feel connected to something ancient and alive.
But after graduation, things change. The Hillel lounge isn’t down the hall. Friends move. Life speeds up. And suddenly, that space for Jewish meaning—anchored in community, curiosity, and deep conversation—is missing.
Enter: Alumni Circles. Launching in Fall 2025, Alumni Circles are small-group learning communities for recent college grads (within 0–3 years of graduating) who want to keep learning, connecting, and growing — with JLF vibes, but made for post-college life.
What Is an Alumni Circle?
Each Circle is a group of 8–20 recent alumni who meet weekly to talk, learn, and build community.
This is a space where Jewish texts and ideas spark real conversations about the stuff that actually matters. It’s a homebase for meaning-making, hosted by a local young adult Jewish community you’ll want to be part of.
It’s a chance to reconnect with what made JLF special, but in a way that fits this next chapter of life.
We’re launching Alumni Circles this fall/winter in:
Atlanta, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles!
Each Circle will be hosted by an organization that knows how to create warm, welcoming Jewish spaces for people in their 20s and 30s. Some are even led by former JLF educators who get it — and who are excited to help you build new community in your city.
