Alan is studying towards a Master’s Degree in Talmud and Halakhah at the Hebrew University, where he is also a fellow in the Mandel School for Advanced Studies in the Humanities. He is a Graduate Fellow with The Nachshon Project, where he hones his skills in Jewish entrepreneurship, data management, and emotional intelligence. Though he grew up in Miami, his parents are from Argentina. This heritage is a core part of his identity. He enjoys playing soccer and pickleball, listening to podcasts like Planet Money from NPR, and making smoothies. He is an avid member of the Israeli National Parks Association and enjoys visiting new sites — in particular, archeological sites. He received a BA in History from Columbia University and a BA in Talmud & Rabbinics from The Jewish Theological Seminary.
