Michael (Mikey) Mitgang is originally from Princeton Junction, New Jersey, but currently lives in New York City! He is a third-year rabbinical student at the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion. Mikey graduated from Indiana University–Bloomington in 2021 where he received his BA in Jewish Studies and a Certificate in Liberal Arts & Management. He has been attending URJ Camp Harlam since he was seven years old and has been returning to camp ever since! Mikey is currently a Nachshon Graduate Fellow where he participates in Jewish programming geared towards preparing Jewish leaders to lead Jewish communal life. During his free time, you can find Mikey listening to Taylor Swift, hanging out with his camp friends, and belting out showtunes.
