Challah Baker, Connector, Dog Lover

Rachel is a Baltimore native and graduate of the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community Day School. Following her graduation from UMBC in 2002, she served as a JCSC fellow at Houston Hillel, and then in a youth engagement role at the St. Louis JCC. After returning to Baltimore in 2011, she served as the Assistant Director of Goucher College Hillel. Most recently Rachel was the Family Engagement Specialist at the Mack’s Center for Jewish education where she worked closely with young families. Prior to taking on the role of Program Manager and Facilitator at Na’aleh, Rachel served on our Strategic Alignment Committee, and as Program Chair for DFI as well as a member of the DFI Advisory Council. She lives in Pikesville with her husband, Rabbi Daniel Plotkin, two sons, Ari and Joshua, and their crazy dog, Shushan.
