Sarah, from Connecticut, graduated from Brandeis University, Magna Cum Laude, double majoring in Education Studies and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies, with a minor in Psychology. She spent a semester in Israel, at Hebrew University as a Nachshon Project Fellow.
Sarah served as Brandeis Hillel President and continued to serve on the Board of Directors for two years. She was also a Hebrew School teacher. She has served as an intern to the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County, helped to develop the tefillah curriculum for K-7 at Shaarei Tikvah, and was a Jewish Day Camp Counselor. This summer, she was a Project Consultant for Prizmah, an organization dedicated to strengthening North American day schools.
Sarah just returned from studying at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem and looks forward to continuing her full-time studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) pursuing a Master’s degree in Jewish Education. She loves to travel! She has traveled to Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Iceland, and Spain this past year.
