Rabbi Yohanna Kinberg is a Moroccan-American rabbi serving the Pacific Northwest Jewry for the past 20 years. She has served as Senior Rabbi and Director of Education of Kol Ami: A Center for Jewish Life in Kirkland, Washington since 2014. Before moving to Kol Ami Rabbi Kinberg served as rabbi at Temple Bnai Torah in Bellevue, Washington for 11 years. Rabbi Kinberg is a second generation rabbi, revived ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and is married to Rabbi Seth Goldstein. She is the current chair of the Washington Coalition of Rabbis and a bird member of NAMI Washington. She is a community leader in the areas of immigrant justice, mental health advocacy, interfaith connections and reproductive freedom. Rabbi Kinberg is also a member of JIMENA’s first ever cohort of the Sephardic Leadership Institute.

Rabbi Kinberg has a love for engaging Jewish children in the joys of Judaism, working to privilege the experience of Judaism and the nurturing teachings of Judaism for the youth of her community. Teaching people of all ages and stages about the wisdom of our people and how it  can make our contemporary realities more sustainable and vital is a passion.
