Rabbi Dave Yedid leads Base Denver: an inclusive, deep, home-based community for Jews in their 20s and 30s seeking meaningful learning and community. Dave believes Jewish community can be nourishing, deep, and transformative for everyone, no matter their background.
Dave has called New York, Vermont, Oregon, Colorado, and Jerusalem home. He graduated from Middlebury College, studied Torah at Yeshivat Hadar’s year fellowship, and got semikha and an MA in Gender Studies from The Jewish Theological Seminary, where he was a Wexner Graduate Fellow.
Dave found his calling to become a rabbi through his roles as a wilderness guide at Camp Ramah in the Rockies and in therapeutic wilderness settings. Dave loves cooking Shabbat meals, being outdoors, and dancing.
