Deirdre Munley is a mission-driven, collaborative, and insightful leader with broad expertise in organizational strategy and operations, innovative and inclusive program design, stakeholder engagement, and leading multi-disciplinary teams. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Program Planning and Leadership at Leading Edge, and she continues to facilitate their Community of Non-Jewish Professionals in Jewish Nonprofits, which originated as an affinity group she conceived of and designed while at JPro, where she served as Chief Strategy Officer.

Deirdre is a passionate advocate for supporting the growth and development of all professionals, and in the essentiality of fostering belonging and inclusion for all. Prior to JPro, Deirdre held the role of Chief Strategy and Operating Officer at Gateways: Access to Jewish Education, where she served for eleven years. Previously, Deirdre worked as Program Director and then Director of Operations for a children’s health foundation as well as consulting to a variety of nonprofits on organizational development and strategy.

Deirdre has held an array of leadership positions on nonprofit boards, focusing on strategic planning and the establishment of best practices. She holds a Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Race and Ethnic Relations, both from Clark University, and is a graduate of Project Accelerate’s Cohort III, UpStart’s Change Accelerator Cohort, and the inaugural Pardes Institute Mahloket Matters High Impact Field Leaders Cohort, as well as being the first non-Jewish leader selected for the Mandel Institute for Nonprofit Leadership’s Executive Leadership fellowship (Cohort VI). Deirdre lives in Massachusetts with her husband, their two children, and a beloved rescue mutt.
