Hannah Stein is earning her MA in Jewish Education at The William Davidson Graduate School at JTS. She is currently student-teaching in a kindergarten classroom at Beit Rabban Day School on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Hannah took part in the Nachshon Project undergraduate fellowship in 2020 and is now continuing her Jewish leadership training as a Nachshon Graduate Fellow.
Originally from West Bloomfield, MI, Hannah graduated from Michigan State University in 2021, where she received a BA in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. Following her studies at MSU, she spent a year student-teaching in Chicago Public Schools (K, 3rd grade) as part of their 5th-year internship. Hannah grew up attending Camp Ramah in Canada, later spending five years on staff as a counselor, and most recently as a unit head. She has a passion for working with young students, helping them find meaning and connection to Jewish values as they apply to their everyday lives. In her free time, Hannah loves to rock climb and try new restaurants with friends.
