Melissa works as a lawyer for the Office of the Attorney General of New Jersey, and she volunteers to build Jewish community in Jersey City. As a Moishe House Without Walls host, she organizes monthly events for Jewish young professionals. 

Melissa holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was the president of the Jewish Law Students Association. In 2015-16, Melissa completed a year of service through Avodah: the Jewish Service Corps in New York City.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, hiking, and seeing Broadway shows.
