Madeline is a student affairs professional at Arizona State University and serves in a variety of volunteer leadership roles in the Jewish community in Arizona.
Previously, Madeline was in the inaugural class of the Hillel Springboard Fellowship where she worked as the Innovation Specialist for three years at ASU Hillel. There, she co-taught three classes of the famous Jewish Learning Fellowship as well as original classes on mindfulness, “adulting”, basics of Jewish ritual, eco-Judaism, sexuality, spirituality, Pirkei Avot, and more! She loves teaching Torah and particularly enjoys helping her Jewish peers in their 20s-30s think about the role Judaism might practically play in their adult secular lives.
Madeline received a Masters in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech where she studied business and climate change and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from NYU. Additionally, she holds a 200-hour RYT yoga certification and M2 Certificate in Jewish Experiential Education.
Madeline looks forward to starting an IYUN circle in Arizona for her peers, teaching alongside the exquisite Rabbi Kanter and Rabbi Wasserman at the New Shul!
