My name is Rafael Rosa, I am 43 years old, and I am a Hydraulic Engineer. I live by the sea in La Paloma (Uruguay) and work on diverse topics, such as computer research, hydraulic projects, and Tahini retail. I am part of the global Hashomer Hatzair movement, working and activating for the consolidation of the Kehilat Bogrim here in Uruguay and in the rest of the world. My Jewish activism focuses on supporting humanist educational projects, as the Hashomer Hatzair Youth Movement and the humanist bar and bat mitzva that we celebrate each year with the Guili project. I am part of the Casa de Cultura Mordejai Anilevich (CCMA), which is the institution where we gather all the educational and political projects as Guili, Hashomer Hatzair or Meretz Uruguay, and which is also the framework from where I participate in the Jewish progressist political front together with other institutions of the local Jewish community. At the national level, I am an environmental activist, mostly participating in the area where I live (La Paloma, Uruguay).
