Community Weaver, Experience Curator, Meaning Maker

Susannah Kolstad is the Director of Congregational Engagement and Programming at Beth Am Synagogue in Baltimore, MD. Since joining the staff in August 2022, she has been dedicated to building a warm and connected community through meaningful programs, one-on-one relationship building, volunteer and committee engagement, affinity groups, and learning opportunities. Susannah brings years of lay leadership experience, including five years of volunteering with young families programming at Agudas Achim Congregation in Alexandria, VA, and serving as Social Co-Chair on the Board of Trustees at Temple Adas Shalom in Havre de Grace, MD. She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Rochester, where she was a Take 5 Scholar, and a Certificate in Relationship-Based Community Engagement from NYU.
